The young people we support have experienced significant challenges in their lives and often communicate their experiences through behaviours such as aggression, absconding, sexualised behaviours, self-harm, criminalisation or withdrawingfrom others. Your role is to stay calm, consistent and compassionate. To set clear boundaries, build trust and look beyond the behaviour to understand what a young person may be experiencing.
