As Service Manager, you'll lead two placements, providing visible, inspirational leadership and driving high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and team performance. Operating outside of the shift rotation, the Service Manager will maintain oversight of both day and night teams through the leadership of two Deputy Managers. Nova Care Group was founded on lived experience and a real understanding of supporting young people through crisis and complexity. What we're looking for:
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who understands the complexities of working with vulnerable young people and is confident leading teams in a care environment.
You’ll need:
- Experience in a management or leadership role within children's services or services supporting vulnerable young people
- Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and risk management
- Experience supporting or leading inspections, audits or quality assurance processes
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Knowledge of CQC standards and Regulation 44 processes is essential
- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent is essential
- A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards this
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
