About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Plumbing and Heating Supervisor to oversee and carry out plumbing and heating works across various sites including, Ministry of Defence (MOD) in the Gloucester area. This is a key supervisory role responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of domestic plumbing and heating maintenance, repairs, and small works projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of plumbers and heating engineers across multiple MOD sites
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily workloads and ensure timely job completion
- Carry out hands-on plumbing and heating works as required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and MOD site standards
- Conduct quality checks and site audits to ensure works meet required specifications
- Liaise with site managers, clients, and other contractors to coordinate works effectively
- Maintain accurate records of completed works, timesheets, and materials used
- Support the development and training of junior engineers
- Respond to emergency call-outs as required
Requirements
- Domestic Gas Safe certificates (CCN1, CENWAT, etc.)
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating within a domestic or light commercial setting
- Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working on MOD or secure sites is desirable (must be able to pass security clearance)
