Mobile HIU Engineer / District Heating Engineer\\n\\nLocation: London (Mobile Role)\\nSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum\\nBenefits: Company Vehicle + Travel Pay + Overtime Opportunities + Pension\\n\\nJob Overview:\\n\\nWe are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile HIU Engineer / District Heating Engineer to join our growing team, servicing sites across London. This role is ideal for a qualified engineer with a strong background in domestic and commercial plumbing, and preferably experience with Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and district or communal heating systems.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of HIU systems, as well as associated plumbing and heating components in both residential and commercial properties. Gas qualifications are a bonus, but not essential.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Service, maintain and repair Heat Interface Units (HIUs)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Diagnose and resolve faults on heating and hot water systems\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out work on communal and district heating systems\\n\\n * \\n\\n Perform plumbing and heating system upgrades or replacements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and property managers\\n\\n * \\n\\n Complete accurate service reports and job documentation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Travel across London to client sites (travel time covered)\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience in domestic and commercial plumbing/heating systems\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience with HIUs and/or district heating systems\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident in fault-finding, repairs, and system optimisation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent customer service and communication skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n Full UK driving licence (essential)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Eligible to work in the UK\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Gas Safe Registration or valid gas qualifications\\n\\n * \\n\\n Knowledge of communal heating networks, and hydraulic balancing\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manufacturer training or certification on HIU systems (preferred)\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000, based on experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Company vehicle with fuel/travel pay\\n\\n * \\n\\n Overtime and progression opportunities (gas qualification training)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Pension scheme and continuous training/development
