We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, covering Swindon and the surrounding region. This is a field-based role carrying out a range of maintenance, testing, inspection, and reactive electrical works within domestic properties. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards, while delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in domestic properties
  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and testing & inspection
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work complies with the latest electrical regulations and safety standards
  • Complete job reports and documentation accurately
  • Liaise with tenants, clients, and office staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order
  • Travel within Swindon and surrounding areas as part of daily duties (travel time paid)

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • AM2 Assessment
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent 2394/2395)
  • Proven experience in domestic electrical maintenance and inspection
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
