About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Domestic Gas Installation Engineer to join our growing team, delivering high-quality boiler and central heating installations across the South West region (Bristol, Swindon, and Gloucester). You’ll be responsible for carrying out full system upgrades, replacements, and new installations in domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation of domestic gas boilers, heating systems, and associated components.
- Perform system upgrades, replacements, and new installations in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and company safety procedures.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and certification accurately and on time.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers, providing a professional and friendly service.
- Manage and maintain company vehicle, tools, and stock.
- Work both independently and as part of a wider installation team.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in domestic boiler and heating installations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of Gas Safe compliance and H&S procedures.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications such as CKR1, HTR1, or Unvented Hot Water (G3).
- Experience in social housing or contract installation work.
- NICEIC or electrical knowledge advantageous.
