The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy Midlands-based contractor looking for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join their team due to a consistently high workload. This is a maintenance-only role, starting on a 3-month subcontract trial, with a view to permanent PAYE employment for the right candidate. You will be working across domestic and retail properties carrying out day-to-day plumbing maintenance and small works.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out domestic & retail plumbing maintenance
- Repairing leaking taps, toilets, pipework, and fittings
- Replacing radiator valves and carrying out radiator installations
- Responding to reactive maintenance jobs
- Working in occupied properties and customer-facing environments
- Completing job reports and basic paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years plumbing experience
- Strong background in maintenance / reactive plumbing (not installs-only)
- Own van & tools
- Plumbing qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- DBS preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Able to commit to Monday - Friday, full-time work
