As Quality Manager for our NOV SPS UK Quality Assurance and Documentation team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our quality strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the effective day-to-day operation and continual improvement of our Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with and exceeding industry standards such as ISO 9001. This leadership role partners closely with the Operational Management team to drive quality initiatives, act as a trusted advisor, and promote a culture of excellence throughout the organization. Your leadership will influence operational performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold our reputation for superior quality. With the support of the Operational Director, this role also offers strong potential for professional growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of Quality Management for the NOV UK Glenrothes operation.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Quality Systems in accordance with accrediting bodies, legislation, and internal audits.
  • Support and lead the QA and Documentation team to ensure effective operation of management systems.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct team performance reviews, identify training needs, and promote career development.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Procedures and maintain standardised policies.
  • Evaluate and monitor suppliers, perform audits, and manage supplier non-conformities.
  • Review documentation for external products, ensuring regulatory and internal accuracy.
  • Map and distribute quality requirements across internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report Quality Objectives, KPIs, and metrics monthly to Operational Managers.
  • Manage Customer Complaints and Corrective Actions; ensure accurate documentation.
  • Oversee training and development for all personnel in the Quality Management System.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Management.
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with supplier audits and special process evaluation.
  • Knowledge of documentation management systems.
  • Previous experience in oil & gas or manufacturing industries.
