About the Role
Join NOV FGS Plymouth as a Team Leader and become a key member of our Factory Management Team. You will be responsible for delivering quality products on time, in alignment with the production schedule, ensuring compliance with the FGS Plymouth Business Management System (BMS), and achieving and exceeding quality, environmental, and health & safety requirements across the factory floor. The role requires leading a team, promoting a safe working culture, driving productivity, and maintaining high standards of workmanship, traceability, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment
- Foster safety culture and safe systems of work
- Maintain factory environment – housekeeping levels
- Identify risks and enforce STOP WORK (5x5)
- Lead allocated teams in the delivery of works
- Drive works through the factory
- Maintain workmanship standards (quality)
- Ensure traceability for all materials and associated paperwork (WIP and Quality Records)
- Report daily on progress of works completed
- Ensure staff are fully utilised and productive at all times
- Ensure environmental and waste‑management controls are followed by your team
- Identify and report to the Area Manager / Production Support Team on any HSE incidents or issues causing non‑value‑added effort
