Located in our Machine Shop at NOV Tuboscope, Montrose (NOV) and reporting to the Production Manager, you will assist all workshop personnel within the Machine Shop, including labouring activities and dispatch of finished components. Additional duties will include operating our Torque and swaging machines and carrying out critical Phosphate surface coating operations. Training will be provided. This role also involves driving a 3.5-tonne truck, supporting general workshop and logistics duties, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist all workshop personnel with labouring activities and component dispatch
- Operate Torque and swaging machines
- Perform phosphate surface coating operations
- Drive a 3.5-tonne truck to transport materials/components to and from customer facilities
- Report material, component, or equipment defects to the Operations Manager in accordance with company procedures
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager regarding customer, project, or operational issues
- Contribute to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) efforts, including hazard reporting
- Assist machinists and support other departments as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop
- Report defects in company equipment and vehicles
- Ensure personal adherence to all HSE legislation and company policies
- Comply fully with all departmental and company procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Forklift License
- Ability to use lifting equipment effectively
- Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety practices
- Experience operating torque machinery (desirable)
- Familiarity with phosphate coating (desirable)
