We are looking for a dedicated Forklift operator/workshop assistant to join our team at the Great Yarmouth HydraRig Harfreys. In this role, you will be operating a range of forklifts and carrying out general workshop duties. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies. The role requires flexibility in working hours to meet business and operational demands. You will be eligible for overtime, providing additional earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of forklifts.
- Daily checks on forklifts/vehicles.
- General workshop and housekeeping duties.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Forklift licence (2.5 tonne).
- Experience of operating forklifts or similar machinery.
- Valid driving licence.
- Willing to undertake training and operate a 16 tonne forklift.
- Physically fit and able to work in varying environments.
- Good work ethic, reliable and punctual team player.
Desirable:
- 5 tonne forklift licence.
- 16 tonne forklift licence or experience of driving large machinery.
