We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing sites in Great Yarmouth. This hands-on role involves maintenance, inspection, and repair of critical building services, utilities, and infrastructure. You will play a key role in compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and sequence maintenance tasks to optimize production flow
- Inspect, repair, and upgrade building infrastructure and assets
- Maintain site safety, including external areas and winter conditions management
- Coordinate third-party repairs and perform safety inductions
- Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety standards
- Monitor stock levels of critical components and equipment
- Complete all required documentation within the QMS system
- Support team discussions, continuous improvement, and KPI maintenance
- Travel between local sites as necessary
Qualifications & Skills
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Building Services, Electrical Installation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Valid or willingness to obtain MEWP and FLT licences
- 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial facilities maintenance role
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong practical skills using hand and power tools
