What You’ll Do

• As a Corporate Tax Assistant (Trainee), you will support the team across a wide range of UK direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance activities, including:
• Corporate Tax Reporting & Compliance – Assist with preparing corporation tax and deferred tax figures/disclosures for UK statutory accounts.
• Corporate Tax Administration – Assist with preparing estimates for Quarterly Instalment Payments (QIPs).
• US GAAP Reporting – Support quarterly and annual US GAAP tax reporting requirements.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with overseas tax returns as required.
  • Coordinate requests for Certificates of Residence.
  • Support preparation of the monthly UK VAT Group Return, including payment/repayment allocation.

Essential Qualifications

• A university degree with an understanding of finance, financial accounting, or related concepts.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication skills – able to write clearly and concisely.
• Good project management and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Eagerness to take on new challenges and develop both technical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines.
