We\’re offering a unique opportunity to kickstart your career as a Multi-Skilled Apprentice at our Manchester manufacturing site located in Middleton.
This is more than a job-it\’s a four-year development journey designed to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to become a key member of our operations team.
What You\’ll Learn and Do
You\’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, including:
- CNC Turning & Milling
- CNC Programming
- Assembly & Fabrication
- General Manufacturing Operations
Our rotational programme introduces you to different departments, so you can see the full lifecycle of our components-from design through to shipping.
Your Apprenticeship Roadmap
Year 1
- Primarily college-based training
- Work toward your NVQ Level 2 qualification
- Build foundational skills in manufacturing principles
Year 2
- Progress to a Level 3 Diploma
- Spend more time on-site, applying your skills in real-world production
- Learn from experienced mentors in our plant and machine shop
Year 3
- Complete your Level 3 Diploma
- Operate machinery and manufacture components under supervision
- Gain deeper insight into policies, procedures, and quality standards
Year 4
- Consider pursuing a Higher-Level Qualification (HE)
- Operate with greater independence and take on more complex tasks
- Graduate as a fully trained Multi-Skilled Operator with continued learning opportunities

Entry Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- English and Maths: Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above
Desirable
- Science and/or Technical subject at Grade 4+
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience
- Exposure to a working environment (e.g., part-time job or school placement) is a plus
