We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Wireline team in Kintore. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, test, and support the delivery of industry-leading K-Winch products, including wireline winches, masts, and associated equipment used by customers around the world. Working as part of a close-knit production team, you will help ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do
- Assemble and test wireline winches, masts, and associated equipment in line with NOV standards and procedures
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bills of materials
- Manufacture and assemble hydraulic systems while maintaining required cleanliness standards
- Monitor materials and components to identify defects or faults
- Ensure product quality while maintaining required levels of output
- Support operational goals including on-time delivery and schedule attainment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new techniques and products
- Proactively identify and communicate issues that may impact assembly activities or delivery timelines
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment
- Support operational requirements, including reasonable overtime when required
What You'll Bring
- Time-served apprenticeship NC qualification in a relevant discipline
- Background within a mechanical trade or mechanical engineering environment
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Understanding of hydraulic schematics
Desirable
- HNC or equivalent higher qualification in a relevant subject
- Experience within an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
