We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join a growing in-house technology team building workflow-driven platforms that underpin how the business delivers for clients. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of manual testing across the platform and work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality releases. The team are strengthening their testing capability and are looking for someone who can contribute from day one, while also developing automation capability over time. You don’t need to be an automation expert, but some exposure and an interest in building further capability in this area would be valuable.
The role:
- Executing functional, regression and exploratory testing across new features and enhancements
- Working closely with engineers throughout development
- Logging, managing and retesting defects clearly and consistently
- Supporting releases and surfacing quality risks early
- Maintaining and improving manual test coverage
- Contributing to the gradual introduction or expansion of automated testing where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a QA or software testing role within a commercial environment
- Strong manual testing capability (with some experience in Automation or a passion to learn this)
- Comfortable working in agile, sprint-based teams
- Able to manage your workload independently and take responsibility for quality
- Some exposure to automation tools or frameworks, even at a foundational level
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
