You will manage and mentor one direct report at a junior level and be the reliable go-to for infrastructure across multiple sites.

The role:

  • Manage and develop one direct report, supporting their growth at a junior level
  • Oversee infrastructure across multiple Leeds sites - servers, cross-site networks and hardware
  • Manage cloud and on-premise systems to ensure availability, performance and security
  • Support the rollout of ISO 27001 compliance across the wider business
  • Manage vendor relationships and the IT budget
  • Occasional travel to a secondary site as needed

Your background:

  • Solid experience in IT support, server management, cloud infrastructure and networking
  • Comfortable managing or mentoring others - even if your experience of this is limited, the right attitude matters
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 27001 (roll out experience ideal)
  • Mac literate - the environment is primarily Apple
  • Organised, pragmatic and calm under pressure
  • Experience with database systems or marketing technology is a nice-to-have
  • Relevant IT certifications are welcome but not essential
