I’m working with a business that’s at the early stages of building out its AI capability. This role will operate across the group and will focus on improving efficiency - building workflows, applying AI where it makes sense, and connecting systems so things run more consistently across multiple business areas. You’ll be the first person in this role, reporting into the AI Lead with exposure across multiple areas of the business.

You’ll be:

  • Building and maintaining automated workflows using n8n (or similar)
  • Applying AI models to process, structure, and classify data and documents
  • Evaluating existing AI models and tools to ensure they’re fit for purpose
  • Designing and refining prompts to improve output quality, consistency, and safety
  • Integrating systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and structured data (JSON)
  • Deploying solutions into production, monitoring performance, and iterating based on usage and feedback
  • Defining basic evaluation approaches (test cases, metrics) to measure output quality over time
  • Documenting workflows, integrations, and decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

You’ll need to have commercial experience building and delivering solutions.

Experience required:

  • Experience building automated workflows (n8n, Make, Zapier, Node-RED or similar)
  • Hands-on use of AI models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI) in real-world use cases
  • Experience refining prompts and improving the reliability of AI outputs (testing, iteration, guardrails)
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with structured data (e.g. MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Understanding of deploying, monitoring, and improving solutions in a production environment
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

If you’ve built workflows, worked with AI in a real setting, and enjoy solving practical problems, then please apply!
