Our client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work for this organisation who have a huge catalogue of consumables. This role will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining a safe working environment whilst contributing to the overall success of the logistics and supply chain activities.
This is the role:
- Managing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Management of 2 warehouse staff.
- Implement and monitor business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare orders on pallets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Delivering average twice a week to the sister company based in West London.
- Booking outgoing pallets using logistic software.
- Clear communication with colleagues, shipping agents, and suppliers.
About you:
- Two years minimum experience in a warehouse managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
