A well-established construction contractor is seeking a Buyer / Administrator to support live civil engineering and surfacing projects. This is a varied, hands-on office role suited to someone organised, commercially aware, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Procuring materials, plant, and tools for site teams
- Raising and managing purchase orders and supplier relationships
- Negotiating rates and supporting tender pricing
- Planning and scheduling surfacing works and associated logistics
- Coordinating plant, transport, subcontractors, and operatives
- Approving and querying high-volume invoices
- Supporting compliance, waste tracking, and sustainability reporting
- General office and yard administration
