An opportunity has become available for an organised, efficient and proactive receptionist/office junior to join our client\’s team. The Office Junior / Receptionist plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the office. This individual serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, they provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office. Key duties will include but will not be limited to: * Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients * Welcome and offer refreshments for visitors * Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as required * Manage post, both incoming and outgoing * Assist in managing and updating the company database * Maintain spreadsheets, updating key information * General office upkeep – ensuring clean and tidy * Assist with filing, photocopying, and scanning documents * Monitor stock of stationery and supplies * Prepare for internal meetings * Organising lunch for visitors and internal staff events * Organise collections for staff milestones * Manage visitor parking * Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings * Ad hoc administration and projects Personal Requirements: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Previous administration experience preferred, but not essential * Confident and professional telephone manner * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Ability to work on your own initiative and have a β€˜can-do’ attitude * Good work ethic * Hard working Team Player Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Due to a very high number of applications we are unable to come back to every candidate with feedback.
