Forklift experience required for this role! We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with forklift experience to join a warehouse team in Luton.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock takes
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Working closely with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Practical forklift operating experience
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
