Job Responsibilities

  • Unloading deliveries and stocking goods
  • Product storage and labelling
  • Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
  • Meeting despatch schedules and deadlines
  • Receiving, checking, recording, organising and storing stock as it is received
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the warehouse manager
  • Ensure non-conforming materials are reported to the warehouse manager
  • Check each delivery for adherence to products ordered and quality
  • Taking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored
  • Recording any damaged/missing/faulty goods
  • Adhere to the company’s recycling policies
  • Maintain a clean and tidy department
  • Opportunity to operate machinery
  • Communication with couriers, obtaining CMR’s and POC’s from the drivers
  • Working as part of a diverse team
  • Overtime opportunities are available
  • General admin duties
  • Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery
  • Supporting the Warehouse team when needed
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Manager to schedule and take part in delivery and collection of goods when needed
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with MOT checks on Company vans

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Forklift experience would be a bonus but not necessary
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Previous experience driving for a Company
  • Holder of a clean drivers license
  • Be able to listen to instructions
  • Be able to communicate with customers during deliveries
  • Moving and handling of goods
