Our client is a small property company who are now actively seeking a Finance Assistant to provide support to the team. This is a newly created role with plenty of progression opportunities.

The role:

  • Provide support to the purchase ledger manager and property accountant.
  • Ad-hoc support to wider team.
  • Setting up & onboarding new suppliers into Qube.
  • Uploading and processing invoices in Qube.
  • Communicating with suppliers to obtain invoices, amend invoices, obtain supplier statements and general invoice queries.
  • Assisting with periodic payment runs.
  • Assisting with periodic supplier statement reconciliations and quarterly trade creditors reconciliations.
  • Dealing with invoice payment queries from team.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of purchase ledger entries).
  • Posting rent receipts and related journal entries into Qube, updating tenant receipt files and monthly rent receipt reports.
  • Production of monthly tenancy schedule.
  • Raising periodic charges on Qube for service charges & commercial rent.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of sales ledger entries).
  • Production of quarterly tenant turnover report for commercial tenants.
  • Assist with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting.
  • Credit control duties - following up with tenants for rent not received and dealing with tenant queries.
  • Quarterly credit check reporting - commercial tenant.

Your experience:

  • Experience using QUBE.
  • Experience working as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
  • Property experience (desirable).
  • Some experience with in working in/with sales or purchase ledger teams.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
