Our client is a small property company who are now actively seeking a Finance Assistant to provide support to the team. This is a newly created role with plenty of progression opportunities.
The role:
- Provide support to the purchase ledger manager and property accountant.
- Ad-hoc support to wider team.
- Setting up & onboarding new suppliers into Qube.
- Uploading and processing invoices in Qube.
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain invoices, amend invoices, obtain supplier statements and general invoice queries.
- Assisting with periodic payment runs.
- Assisting with periodic supplier statement reconciliations and quarterly trade creditors reconciliations.
- Dealing with invoice payment queries from team.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of purchase ledger entries).
- Posting rent receipts and related journal entries into Qube, updating tenant receipt files and monthly rent receipt reports.
- Production of monthly tenancy schedule.
- Raising periodic charges on Qube for service charges & commercial rent.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of sales ledger entries).
- Production of quarterly tenant turnover report for commercial tenants.
- Assist with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting.
- Credit control duties - following up with tenants for rent not received and dealing with tenant queries.
- Quarterly credit check reporting - commercial tenant.
Your experience:
- Experience using QUBE.
- Experience working as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
- Property experience (desirable).
- Some experience with in working in/with sales or purchase ledger teams.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
