Job Description
Electrician
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday. Additional hours may need to be worked depending on workload. There may be a requirement for occasional weekend working. Respond to callouts as required.
- As a maintenance electrician, your duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Taking delivery of materials
- Checking delivery notes and handing them to the foreman
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on all electrical equipment on the
- client’s asset register
- Complete worksheets in a timely and efficient manner and submit to the head office each Friday.
- Make recommendations regarding condition of plant and submit Life Expired asset reports if necessary.
- Completing Planned Maintenance works in accordance with the client specification.
- Compile list of remedial works required after PPM visit.
- Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing costings for any remedial works.
- Order job materials and submit copy paperwork to the Head Office each Friday.
- Attend training and H & S courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager.
- In the event of an accident, report to your nominated First Aider who will be introduced to
- you during your site induction.
- Complete accident report forms as directed by your site foreman/Contracts Manager
