Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver – Cambridge
Ongoing Temp Contract
Our client are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-known client based in Cambridge – a leading manufacturer and supplier with a reputation for high quality and innovation.
Monday to Friday
Start Times: 07.00am – 5.00pm
Immediate Start Available!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks
- Complete up to 25 deliveries per day
- Load and unload products (manual handling involved)
- Handballing and heavy lifting required
- Ensure loads are strapped and secured
- Operate curtain-sided vehicles (curtain pulling required)
What We’re Looking For:
- UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Valid CPC & Tacho Card
- Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
- Solid understanding of WTD and Drivers’ Hours
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Must be physically fit
- Reliable and flexible attitude
