Whether you’re currently in a leadership role or looking to take your first step into site-wide and clinical management, this role offers an excellent opportunity to provide proactive and visible leadership during the night shift. As the Night Service Manager, you will hold primary responsibility for overseeing the site during the night, ensuring the same high standards of care that we provide during the day. You will collaborate closely with the nurses in charge and ward teams across all wards, supported by on-call senior managers and doctors, to maintain and enhance the quality of care throughout the night. Responding swiftly and effectively to medical and psychiatric emergencies. Providing coaching and mentorship to team members. Nursing qualification with current NMC registration as RMN or RNLD. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mental health setting. Experience in Older People’s Mental Health (OPMH) care or Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is highly desirable. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about ensuring excellent patient care during night hours. Baldock Manor is a 40-bed mental health facility for adults in various settings (two Female PICU’s, and two Acute Wards), with an increased focus on psychology led treatments.
