We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director to provide visible, values-driven clinical leadership at Baldock Manor Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist and Responsible Clinician, you will lead the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care, while championing a culture of compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping clinical strategy, strengthening governance, and ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and the Mental Health Act. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with strategic influence.
You will lead and support multidisciplinary teams, drive quality and patient safety initiatives, and oversee the development and performance of the medical workforce. You will also contribute to service development, innovation, and the long-term sustainability of the hospital, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
