Hours: 30 hours
Salary: Up to £49,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

This exciting and varied role works within our inpatient service and other services, including supported living and residential care homes across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire, providing a unique opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and influence occupational therapy practice across multiple settings.
As part of a supportive multi‑disciplinary team, you will assess, plan and deliver person‑centred, evidence‑based interventions that support individuals in building independence, developing essential life skills and progressing in their recovery. The role involves facilitating therapeutic groups and meaningful activity programmes, while working collaboratively with nursing, psychology, medical and support staff to ensure holistic care. You will also play a key role in supervising and supporting junior OT staff and students, and contribute to the ongoing development and innovation of occupational therapy services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out functional and occupational assessments.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence‑based approaches.
- Lead both group sessions and 1:1 therapeutic interventions.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior OT team members.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and support workers.
- Support discharge planning and coordinate with external services.
- Engage in audits, CPD and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting is preferable.
- Experience with both group and individual OT interventions.
- Supervisory experience desirable.
- Own vehicle.
- Driving licence.
