Be part of something new! Coniston House is Nouvita’s brand-new mental health service in Camberley, providing specialist support to men in a safe, therapeutic residential environment. Opening a new service is a rare opportunity – you’ll help shape its culture from day one, build strong relationships with the men we support, and grow your career as the service grows. Nouvita is an established, CQC-regulated provider of mental health and social care services across the South East, and we’re committed to developing our people. Many of our senior staff, deputies and managers started as support workers – and at a new service like Coniston House, clear progression routes are built in from the start.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to men with mental health needs
- Supporting residents with daily living, independence skills, activities and community engagement
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver individual support and recovery plans
- Keeping accurate, timely records using our electronic care systems
- Helping to create a positive, respectful and recovery focused environment as part of a founding staff team
What we are looking for:
- At least one year’s experience of support work within a mental health setting
- A genuinely caring, compassionate approach and a commitment to the people we support
- Enthusiasm for being part of a brand-new service and helping it flourish
- Ideally a qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g. Level 2/3 Diploma) – or the motivation to work towards one with our full support
- Good IT literacy – confident using electronic records and everyday digital systems
- Reliability, resilience and strong teamwork and communication skills
Your career, your development!
Development is at the heart of this role. We will fund and support you to achieve a Health and Social Care qualification if you don’t already hold one, and there is a clear progression pathway at Coniston House and across Nouvita:
What we can offer you:
- Fully funded training and qualifications
- Genuine career progression within a growing organisation
- Full induction and ongoing support from an experienced management team
- Pension scheme
- Blue Light Card
- Refer-a-friend bonus (up to £1,000)
- Employee Assistance Programme
