Role overview
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and practical General Labourer to support building and property development works across sites in Gloucester and the surrounding area. This is a varied role suited to someone who is comfortable working across different stages of a construction project. The successful candidate must be physically capable, able to work independently when required and willing to support different trades on site.
Main duties
- General labouring duties across active building sites.
- Removing, sorting and loading building waste.
- Rip-out and light demolition works.
- Moving building materials, tools, furniture and equipment.
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised.
- Assisting carpenters, plasterers, decorators and other trades.
- Basic painting and decorating works.
- Landscaping and external clearance works.
- Basic property maintenance and minor repair tasks.
- Using standard hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Completing other reasonable site duties as required.
