We're Nouveau Care and we've been providing live-in care assistant jobs in Norwich since 2015. We provide live-in care on behalf of Norfolk County Council and the NHS as well as for private clients. As a CQC regulated home care provider, we've been rated 'Good' since 2017. Our Live-In Care Assistants enjoy great rates of pay and gain a working relationship with their clients like no other type of care.

We’re looking for Live-In Care Assistants to care for our clients with compassion & empathy. Our live-in care jobs in Norwich are about staying with somebody in their own home to provide the services you'd expect in a care home. You'll help our clients with daily tasks such as personal care, dressing, meal preparation and medication. We'll give you full training but this is mostly instinctive - it's about treating people the same as you would your own family members and ensuring their wellbeing and safety. You'll be the first person to pick up on issues such as illnesses and we guarantee you'll make a difference in somebody's life from day one. You'll be one-to-one with our clients throughout your working day and week.

Requirements

Previous care or healthcare experience is an advantage for our live-in care jobs in Norwich but not a necessity. People from hospitals, community support or care home jobs are a good fit but equally childcare or retail backgrounds often prove beneficial. What we're looking for are people skills - even if they're gained from helping a relative. You'll need the degree of maturity required to know when something might be wrong and how to seek the appropriate advice. You'll have on-call support whenever you need it.

Having a driving license and access to a car is beneficial for our live-in home care roles since you'll need to reach our client's addresses. It's possible to work using public transport unless our clients require support from a driver.

Benefits

As a member of our live-in home care assistant team, you'll stay with our clients in their homes typically for one week at a time. You'll work from between 8 to 10 hours each day depending on the care required, and you'll get 2 hours break each day during which you can leave the house if you need to. If the client has night time needs another carer might tend to these so that you can sleep well. In some circumstances it may be possible to take an afternoon off during the week.

You'll earn up to £675 per week and be fully employed with 28 days paid holiday per year pro rata.
