Responsibilities
- Work as part of a dynamic care team fulfilling temporary staffing needs for care homes and nursing homes.
- Provide high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for vulnerable adults, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report on residents’ health and well-being to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
- Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
- Minimum of 6-12 months care experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in a team-oriented environment.
