Role Description
Provide high‑quality care promoting dignity, independence, and well‑being for vulnerable adults in care homes and nursing homes.
This role is part of a dynamic care team fulfilling temporary staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility, using equipment safely as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report residents’ health and well‑being to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
- Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
- Minimum 6‑12 months care experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in a team‑oriented environment.
