Job Summary
Healthcare Assistant – Holt, Norfolk, UK. Part‑time position offered by Nouveau Care, a trusted staffing agency, to support care homes and nursing homes in Holt, Norfolk, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report on residents’ health and well‑being to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
- Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting desirable.
- Minimum 6–12 months care experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in a team‑oriented environment.
