Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Snr Chef de Partie to join their highly talented team, for a stunning Food Led Pub in the picturesque Surrey Hills village, Gomshall, between Guildford and Dorking. This is a large and busy site on food, easily taking in the region of £25-30k a week on food. A Chef competent and who works well in a busy service is essential in ability, delivering great food to ensure they build an excellent reputation at an iconic Surrey pub.
The Chef role would offer a good quality of life, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts. You will also be key to ensuring a high level of quality fresh, local and seasonal food, to build the strength of reputation the business whilst assisting in leading a talented team.
Requirements
- An ideal candidate for this Chef Position would be: City & Guilds / NVQ qualification or qualified by experience.
- The ability to take the lead as required and have the experience to ensure the kitchen operation runs smoothly.
- Have a passion for great food and a customer focused mindset.
- Be honest, dedicated, and hardworking.
- Have enthusiasm and take real pride in achieving exceptional results.
- Be adaptable and have a great sense of humour!
- Previous proven experience in a relevant Chef role.
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
Hours based on 48hrs a week, 5/7 day basis.
