CDP £32k- £37K Package dep on experience Godalming Field to Fork Concept The Client Our client are a proud champion of farm-to-fork cooking and local produce. Ranked within the top 50 gastro pubs and with a number of acolades for its uniqueness in providing exceptional food and hospitality whilst being a hidden gem within Surreys countryside. The pub undertook a complete refurbishment during March 2024. The daily changing menu is based on what comes off the farm and inspired by great British classics. The bar serving award-winning local ales, and with a carefully curated wine list The Role The main responsibility of the Chef will be to provide a consistant strength within the senior kitchen team, to maintain the seamless running of the kitchen, working alongside the Executive Chef and contribute to the ideas and growth of the kitchen. The Chef will work within a strong creative team of 5. You will require an exceptional level of cookery and the strength to show strength and ambition for the common goal of continued growth of the business within your position. Requirements As Chef you will have Qualifications relevant to the position. The successful candidate should additionally have the following: · In-depth understanding of volume, quality restaurant kitchen operations · Extensive knowledge of food and a broad range of culinary skill; ability to continually advance the food offering. – Ideally expereience working for a further independent business, working for passionate driven owners and an ability to run the kitchen as your own · Passionate about food, drink and the hospitality industry · Previous \’specifically\’ pub casual dining experience · Awareness of and adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation · Excellent communication skills.
