An exciting position has become available for a full-time Chef to join a growing team based in Camberley, Surrey. The candidate will assist in preparing and cooking high quality food for VIP clients in the private aviation field. You will be joining a family run business and enjoying being part of a small team is essential.
Requirements
- Have at least NVQ Level 2 in food preparation and cooking. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial, but training will be provided.
- Have excellent communication skills, orally and written.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Be able to work in a team or individually.
- Be capable of working under pressure with time-constraints.
- Have good knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Having a wide knowledge of different cuisines will be advantageous.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Be flexible.
- A full driving licence essential.
Responsibilities
- To assist in preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- To help maintain, clean, and use where necessary all kitchen equipment.
- To maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen areas in line with current EHO standards.
- To help create and operate an efficient rota of kitchen staff and cover.
- To apply the necessary practises and procedures to maintain food safety protocols.
- To be responsible for the running of the kitchen, its staff, and facilities in the absence of the Head Chef.
- The Head & Sous Chef is charged with the duty of overseeing all kitchen operations.
Hours and Benefits
The successful candidate will earn up to Β£32,500 depending on experience. This position is 5 days a week every other weekend. 2 shift Patterns 6-2pm and 10-6pm with a degree of flexibility. 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays.
