About the role of National Account Manager:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you will play a key role in growing sales of our generic pharmaceutical portfolio. This role involves travelling to our customers across England, with regular travel to our office in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & foster relationships with business partners established & new to ensure long-term success.
- Drive new distribution through sales and profit within OTC sectors.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
- Conduct regular business review meetings with the customers.
- Co-ordinate and manage customer service projects and initiatives.
- Identify NPD opportunities and drive effective communication of own label NPI.
- Forecasting & EPOS sales analysis.
- Understanding & implementing MHRA artwork procedures.
About you:
We are looking for someone with a background in Account Management, either in B2B sales or procurement within a similar industry. Ideally, you will also have:
- Commercial understanding of Generic Pharmaceuticals OTC, GSL, P & POM
- An appreciation of working in a highly regulated field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter attitude, and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
