We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced Team Manager to Children’s Social Care in the MASH. A minimum of 2 years\’ post qualifying experience working with children and families in the statutory sector will be required.
The MASH is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding concerns in relation to children and adults to enable decisions to be made at an early stage regarding the appropriate services required.
The MASH involves over 80 staff from partner agencies working together – Children’s Social Care, Police, Health, Probation, Education, Early Help and Adult Safeguarding.
As the Team Manager, you will need to have leadership skills and be able to manage a team of qualified social workers and support staff in a multi-agency setting to ensure that the statutory needs of children for support and protection are met through the delivery of high-quality services and within the strength-based practice framework.
You will be providing effective leadership, guidance and support and working collaboratively with a range of partner agencies.
You will be motivated, committed, and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families. You will be able to build effective working relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills, supervise and appraise your team and ensure all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently and within a timely and robustly Manner.
