We are currently on the lookout for a Cook Two to work for the “Silver Accredited Food for Life, School Catering Service”. You will provide outstanding support to the School Chef to assist in the effective operation of the kitchen, and take charge of running the kitchen in their absence.
Your role will include serving nutritious, healthy meals that pupils will love and will directly assist in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen. There will be a chance to be involved in all aspects of the kitchen management; including motivating and leading the team, participating in lunch time services, ensuring food standards are kept high, ordering and supplier liaison, training and coaching more junior staff, as well as ensuring that all Food Health & Safety requirements are met.
