The Facilities Management service is looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Caretaker who has access to suitable transport in order to reach specified sites at agreed times (mornings and afternoons).
You will be required to work a split shift 6.00am to 9.00am and 3.00pm and 6.00pm a total hours of 30 per week and there may be additional work. These hours may vary within these times to meet operational need, and some additional time may be required to meet the needs of the site. You must have access to suitable transport for work and a mileage allowance will be paid for travel from your allocated work base to site. An appropriate and clean driving license is essential, and a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this.
Experience of facilities management is work desirable but not essential as training will be given. Main duties will include cleaning and securing buildings.
The post will require regular communication with Management officers who will update the post holder daily on the site destination required. Good standards of customer care and communication are key requirements.
Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
