Due to retirement, we are looking for an assistant accountant to join the Adult Social Care finance team, currently based at County Hall, West Bridgford.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work full time (37 hours) on a permanent basis and join the team during a period of change and opportunity. As part of the team, you will be providing high quality financial advice and support to managers within Adult Social Care. You will be doing month end work, along with data analysis when required and assisting managers in putting their monthly forecasts together.
You will have achieved a full AAT qualification or equivalent, with experience of working within a financial environment, preferably public sector, and experience working with financial systems and processes. You must be able to manage your own performance to meet objectives and provide an excellent customer focused service. The ability to work on your own initiative, pay attention to detail and understand and interpret information is essential, in addition to good communication, interpersonal and excel skills.
