We deliver high-quality, excellent palliative care for patients living with a life-limiting condition and we also support their families and friends, both before and after death.

This role involves working within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families. You will work in an environment where the patient is truly the centre of care, as part of a supportive and fun team where everyone is valued for their unique skills and experience.

You do not need palliative care experience (although that would be great) as we offer a comprehensive induction package. Our Hospice in Your Home Team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes. The successful postholder will work shifts across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.

What's in it for you?

  • Time to care for your patients
  • Making a real difference for the patient and family
  • Work in an environment where the patient is truly the centre of care

You do not need to have palliative care experience. Full and part-time opportunities are available. You must have Health Care Assistant experience and possess a minimum of a Care Certificate Qualification. Support will be given to the postholder to develop their career ambitions. You must possess a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
