The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

Please be advised that Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has made the difficult decision to serve notice on its offender health contracts. Over the coming months, we will work with NHS England on transitioning these services to a new provider. We still need to recruit for these valued positions and welcome your application. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Technician to work within our integrated healthcare team at HMP Nottingham. You will be an active member of the healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, safe pharmacy service that includes ordering, distribution, and supply of medications, reflecting national and local policies and priorities, while maintaining the high-security standards required.

Your responsibilities include providing information and advice to patients and colleagues about medications and processes where appropriate. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be part of a motivated and skilled team delivering integrated healthcare services, including physical health, mental health, and substance misuse. You will support all aspects of medication supply and distribution, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate provision of medications to patients.

You will ensure all medications are ordered via electronic prescribing on SystmOne, complete medication reconciliation for new arrivals, support ongoing medication optimization and reviews, and lead on the safe storage and use of medications.
