Overview
Salary dependent on banding – Band 7 or 8a. 2 x F/T posts.
Team and Service
Small supportive psychology team of Clinical and Assistant Psychologists within Community Intellectual Disability Teams (CIDT) across Mansfield, Ashfield, Bassetlaw and Newark, with possible work in ICATT.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for adults aged 18+ with intellectual disabilities across CIDT and ICATT.
- Deliver supervision, training and consultation to staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and contribute to service evaluation, research and special interests in therapeutic interventions.
- Advance competency framework toward band 8a, support preceptorship for band 7 candidates.
Qualifications
- Qualified or registered clinical psychologist, or working towards registration.
- Experience in intellectual disability settings and evidence‑based models (CAT, EMDR, DBT, NET).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Family and service user engagement experience.
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use; reasonable adjustments for disabled individuals.
