Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Helpdesk Administrator to join our busy team in the Estates department based at Rampton Hospital. The post holder will form part of the existing Helpdesk team and will be the first point of contact for all calls received from Trust staff, external customers and contractors regarding the reporting of maintenance requirements within the Forensic settings, which can include maintenance repairs, transport, portering jobs and room bookings.
Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and proactive service to customers requesting jobs through a variety of communication methods (email, telephone, and face to face).
- Assist with general administrative work to support the Department, including monitoring of contractors and raising purchase orders relating to their work.
- Record accurate details of all maintenance requests using the CAFM system (FSI Concept) and manage updates on issue/job progress, ensuring callers are reassured that their job will be dealt with in a timely manner and that details are correctly passed to the appropriate team for action.

- Strong administrative skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience using CAFM systems (e.g., FSI Concept) for recording and tracking maintenance requests.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
