Data Quality & Insights Officer

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Data Quality & Insights Officer to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will lead efforts to improve data quality, integrity and governance across key business systems, while analysing data to deliver valuable insights that support operational effectiveness, community safety and strategic decision-making.

You will work closely with colleagues across Prevention, Protection, Risk Assurance and other teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, develop dashboards and reports, and help embed high standards of data management throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on maintaining and improving data quality across key business systems.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues, implementing sustainable solutions where needed.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data quality metrics to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights that support community safety and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues to improve data standards, consistency and governance.
  • Support compliance, audit and reporting requirements by ensuring data is accurate, reliable and auditable.
  • Deliver training and guidance to promote best practice in data management across the organisation
