Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is looking to recruit dynamic and enthusiastic, qualified cricket coaches to deliver weekly at hubs on our Street Cricket Program.

RELEVANT GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The Casual Coach role will be expected to plan, deliver and review high quality cricket coaching sessions that are young person focused, adaptable and age appropriate. Have the ability to organise safe and enjoyable sessions that deliver the outcomes of the relevant young people offers below.

SPECIFIC ROLE PROFILE

Street Cricket

The Street Cricket hubs provide a fast-paced, tapeball cricket experience. They are based in areas that don’t have a great number of opportunities for children to play cricket outside of their schools. We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic coaches to assist in the delivery of our hubs in Nottingham and Newark. Sessions are currently delivered on:

  • Tuesday 5:30pm – 7:00pm at Barnby Road Newark
  • Wednesday 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Haydn Road Nottingham

The ideal candidate will need to be inspirational and have a passion to help develop young people, be up for a challenge, love sport, show initiative and have strong interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant is required to have a minimum ECB Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent), Safeguarding, First Aid and a full driving license with access to a vehicle. Due to the nature of this role an ECB Enhanced DBS will be required.
