Are you experienced in supervising cleaning teams in busy venues? Do you take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation? Trent Bridge, one of the world’s most iconic cricket grounds, is looking for a full-time Housekeeper Supervisor to uphold the highest standards across our historic venue.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for both hands-on cleaning duties and supervising our housekeeping team. You will ensure all areas of Trent Bridge – from seating and concourses to offices and changing rooms – remain clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a permanent, full-time position of 35 hours per week, based at our Nottingham ground, reporting to the Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly
- Replenish supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues
- Act as first point of contact for the housekeeping team
- Allocate tasks, monitor work standards, and inspect areas regularly
- Support with training, induction, and reviewing team performance
- Maintain cleaning schedules and accurate records
- Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has recent experience in a supervisory housekeeping role
- Understands COSHH and manual handling procedures
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and cover absence when needed
- Is friendly, reliable, and takes pride in their work
It would be a bonus if you have recognised COSHH or manual handling certificates.
